Terms of Use

1. About these terms

Ripen is operated by Benson Smart Solutions AB. By creating an account or using Ripen after these terms take effect, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Who may use Ripen

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. You may not use Ripen if doing so would violate applicable law or if your account has been suspended or removed for a valid service reason.

3. Your account

Provide accurate information, use your own phone number, and keep your account access secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Tell Ripen promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.

4. How Ripen works

Ripen presents profiles through a focused discovery flow. Decisions remain private unless both people accept, at which point a match and conversation can be created. Ripen does not guarantee that a profile, match, reply, relationship, or particular outcome will be available.

5. Your profile and content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Benson Smart Solutions AB a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve Ripen. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where limited retention is legally permitted or needed for safety records.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not post misleading, illegal, exploitative, hateful, threatening, or sexually abusive material, or content that violates another person's privacy or rights.

6. Respectful and lawful use

You must not:

• impersonate another person or misrepresent material facts;
• harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or discriminate against anyone;
• solicit money, distribute spam, or use Ripen for commercial outreach;
• scrape profiles, reverse engineer the service, or bypass access controls;
• upload malware or interfere with the service; or
• use Ripen for illegal activity.

7. Safety and member interactions

Use judgment when communicating with or meeting another member. Ripen does not perform a guarantee of identity, background, intentions, or conduct. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service. Safety and reporting contacts must be finalized before launch.

8. Beta availability and changes

Ripen is currently in private beta. Features, discovery availability, and access may change or be interrupted. The service may be updated, limited, or discontinued where reasonably necessary, with notice where required by law.

9. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or ended when reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these terms, investigate misuse, comply with law, or protect the service. Any final appeal process and contact method must be confirmed before publication.

10. Deleting your account

You can request permanent account deletion from Settings in the app. Deletion removes the account data described in the Privacy Policy, subject to limited retention allowed or required for safety and legal purposes.

11. Intellectual property

Ripen, its brand, interface, software, and service materials belong to Benson Smart Solutions AB or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

12. Responsibility and applicable law

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited. Any warranty, liability, governing-law, venue, consumer-rights, and dispute language must be approved for the countries where Ripen will be offered before these terms are published.

13. Changes and contact

If these terms change materially, Ripen will provide appropriate notice. A monitored legal contact must be added here and on the Support page before launch.
